This is the complete Kook's exhaust system as recommended by Cool Tech and put together as a complete system and with a full-kit discount. This complete kit includes Kook's full stainless headers with 1 3/4" primary tubes and a 3" collector. Following the full-stainless headers is the Boss-unique H-Pipe with Catalytic converters and a provision to retain the Boss-unique side pipes. With this solution you can taylor the exhaust note by farying the hole size for the side pipes - or eliminating the block plate completely for maximum flow and sound from the side pipes. Finally, a full CAT-back, 3" mandrel bent, T-304 stainless, system from the H-Pipe back including new, fully polished mufflers with 4" polished tips. By the end of November, 2011, Cool Tech expects to have this system installed on 3 unique Laguna Seca's that we build/maintain and we will include full un-altered dyno results for before/after comparisons. Kook's is the first of the larger performance exhaust manufacturers to offer a COMPLETE "header to exhaust tip" solution - ensuring excellent fitment and maximum performance gains... as well as a substantial weight savings over stock. Unique to a Kook's solution, Boss 302 owners have the maximum of flexibility!! Following the headers, you would have your choice of THREE unique mid pipes, and each of these mid-pipes can be ordered with CATS or in an off-road configuration without CATS. Cool Tech is proud to offer the complete line of Kook's performance products. For the mid-pipe, you can choose to have an H-Pipe or an X-Pipe. But, only Kook's offers an additional H-Pipe that is configured specifically for the side pipes on the Boss 302. This configuration allows you to keep the Boss 302 side pipes. Please note that the Boss 302 sidepipes are unlikely to add any measureable performance benefit, but they allow the owner to have some additional control and flexibility to control the sound. By varying the size of the hole in the side plate block-off plates, the owner can customize the sound of the car... from mild to wild. For maximimum weight savings, owners can choose a "conventional" H-pipe or X-Pipe. As stated previously, all 3 mid-pipes - H-Pipe 302, Conventional H-Pipe, or Conventional X-pipe can be ordered with or without CATS. After choosing any mid-pipe solution - or deciding to leave the mid-pipe and/or exhaust manifolds OEM, this CAT-back solution can free up a lot of weight and will improve the sound and HP of your Mustang.
