This is a complete tow harness kit for your
1996-2006 Jeep
Wrangler TJ- all trim levels. This kit should be used if you intend to
flat-tow your
Jeep behind your SUV or motor home. This is a complete package that
includes everything you need to have STOP, RUNNING LIGHT, and TURN
SIGNAL operation within your rear tail lights. A key feature
of this kit is that it is a completely separate harness and it DOES NOT
tap into your OEM wiring. This is a BIG ADVANTAGE compared to
other kits, as the OEM wiring is never compromised and there are no
diodes or other devices to add because the system is independent of
the OEM wiring. This kit is VERY easy to install and uses
OEM-like Weatherpack connectors. You simply add the
additional socket and bulb into each tail light housing, and then plug
the supplied harnesses together. Everything has been pre-made for
you. Of
course, complete, color-illustrated instructions are included!
The harness uses heavy-duty 14-gauge fully
insulated cables. One cable runs from you driver's side rear tail light
to the front of the Jeep and the other cable inter-connects the
driver's side cable to the right rear tail light. Simple.
This newly updated complete kit includes a
Heavy
Duty cast (not stamped) 4-pin connector that can be mounted at the
front of your Jeep. The 4-pin connector
can be mounted into the
bumper or
installed using the (included) bracket.
